Hi Yiran,

Thank you for the post! I totally agree with your thoughts. I think cooperative learning is a great way for learners to interact ideas with their peers. Through the process, each member in the same group could receive thoughts of different perspective, which helps to a have a more holistic view of certain problem. More importantly, I definitely think that cooperative learning always bring more fun to learner’s learning process compare with other type of learning. Learners could learn better when the process is enjoyable.

Thank you for the post! I think direct instruction is used the most in the regular-based class where teacher pass on knowledge and gives specific instruction to their students. It is the most effective way for students to gain information in a limit time period. However, I think there are many factors can effect students’ learning outcomes in a huge way. For example, as for students, if they can not concentrate when they received information and process them in their brain, they will not learn much. In addition, teaching method is also important, teacher need to give structured lesson in order to achieve the best results from students.
